I know that I have seen the Motorist Assistance Patrol trucks on the Interstate before, but never really paid attention to them. I went to Sams this afternoon and purchased some chairs so I had 5 LARGE boxes in the back of the truck and thought that I had secured them. As I got onto the 210 loop, I noticed the boxes moving and was afraid that they were going to fall out of the truck and cause an accident so I pulled over. A M.A.P. truck pulled behind me and offered assistance. He told me that I could get back into the truck while he secured the boxes! Im sure that there must be things about his job that I have no idea about that he doesnt enjoy but I was thinking, what an awesome job, to go around doing random acts of kindness! So thank you Mr. Wayne with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development Motorist Assistance Patrol!
