I know what am about to say will upset a lot of people but I will say it anyway. ... Dont get me wrong folks. ....slavery as an institution was and will always be unjustifiable. ...n so I dont support it in any kind, form or shape. But there was a reason why slavery happend..... You had a group of dumb people and another who where smart....well....the natural order dictates that the smart ones take charge....n that was what happend....period But if you are upset. ..why b? In july of 1966...2 days after Nkrumah of blessed memory was overthrown in a coup solely ocastrated and carried out by the CIA of America. ...the un-intelligent unit of the British government...n of cause led by its chairman. ...Kofi Abrefa Busia....British Baloney Corporation...I mean...BBC....reported africas dictator had been justifiably overthrown...a dictator who came to power with about $250 million dollars in the national voult..but.left the country broke and in indept to the tune of $650 million dollers...guess what they called those waste.....the Akosombo dam.....the Tema motto highway....the only planned community in the country...yes u guessed right...the fiber optic backbone...yes...that infamous thing which gave the NPP government some backbone during its last tenure in government .... They called all of that waste. Fast forward to 2014....the only thing ghana can boast of are these very developments listed above. ....o plus one biiiiiiiiiiiigggg 4 plots mall situated in an earthquake prone zone. What a shame.....we have gold...boxite. ..cocoa...oil..timber..rubber...bitumen....precious stones....salt...TZ (a dish that takes 5 hours to eat..5 hours to digest n 5 hours to shit out).....n yet, we wait on foreign donors to provide us with worthless papers backed with a caution that those moneys have side effects capable of crippling every aspect of our lives. ..from the farmer who cant recieve government subsidies.. through a foreign company that gets a 10 year tax free government offer .....to fulany herdsmen and Chinese immigrants annexing rich portions of our land. Yet...we are told.....all is well. That all the Ghanaian child needs in order to compete and realise a forfilling future is a sanitary pad for school. That when she complains of the mediocre services of her countrys ministries. ....all you got to do is move ministers around and everything will be fine. Today. ...when buildings collapse. ...our president tells us....we shouldnt worry...it is God who giveth...n He taketh....that we shud reajust n embrace our minds n bodies for load shedding is our new way of life from hence forth.....that we have a history of having achieved nothing n so as it was from the beginning. ..so shall it be till our creator comes calling. That having weak and corrupt institutions is in our best interest. .... that way....no records are kept. ...therefore no one has criminal history records to his or her name....n if you commit a crime...you can pay a dime n youll be free. That ministers of state are not corrupt....that they are the direct descendants of Abraham. .the most sacrificing people on earth. I once met a taxi driver who told me he likes it when MPs rip the country n build with the money in ghana instead of paying to foreign officials. ... I ony asked him one thing. . How long hes been driving the taxi... he told me 25yrs...there. .... I knew he had 25 more years to go. We simply have our asses openned n the government is just thrusting anything it can lay hangs on. Folks. ..in words we wish slavery away. ....but we invite it with our deeds If theres one thing I have learnt about slavery. ..it is that it has never said no to an invite By the way. ....I did not plan before writing this....just wrote as it came in Njoy
