I like to think from a different perspective when working. Every idea or problem to me is like a 3D cube. Most people can only visualize one or two faces of that cube. Then there are a few who can imagine 4-5 faces of a cube, the ones who can do that are great thinkers and problem solvers. I can usually see 4-5 faces of a cube but no matter what there is alway a face that cant be imagined. To do so you need an outside element such as a person who thinks differently to provide input. Be it a Doctor talking to a mechanic about his car and it triggers an idea or an architect who looks at single cell organisms slides to come up with new designs. This is why team work and review is important. Additionally, exploring beyond your major or norm is equally important. It helps to bring in new perspective. Just because you are a lawyer doesnt mean you cant study quantum physics, history shows the greatest of minds were inquisitive about multiple subjects. First day of class I was the thought the relationship between a build and a human body. Through out my semester I was thought advance biology, chemistry and physics because a build is made up of chemical that can have effects on a human body. I sure you know a person who did a 360 in a career change. I know a surgeon who is now in construction in NY. This video reminded me of the importance to think beyond the cube, enjoy. youtube/watch?v=apiScBmE6rA
