I live in Palmer, Alaska. Friday my son and I went to our local grocery store, Fred Meyer, in Palmer. As we were walking across the parking lot I saw a car with a Stillwater, Oklahoma license plate on the front and an Oklahoma license plate on back. I wished I could have seen who was driving, it was parked and empty, just to have said hi to them. It would have been like seeing any old friend, whether I knew them or not.
