I lived in South Lake Tahoe CA many times since around 1979 where I found a haven of cheep rather nice motels and even hotels with weekly rates and often daily maid service, Jacuzzi, kitchens for as low as $65.00 to $85.00 a week like nowhere else where one could have a nice place to stay while finding a good job especially during the winter months between my working seasonally as a firefighter for the CA Dept of Forestry for over five years after a stint for a year contract I fulfilled with the CA Conservation Corps and also before that the US Air Force (SAC) where I attended medical school with an honorable discharge and full benefits. I began to witness with my own two eyes the horrible corruption that enveloped the city of S Lake Tahoe when Mayor Trupp was arrested while I had the honor of knowing District Attorney Tepper who became a mentor towards me after charges against me were dropped when we managed to rescue three children from a really awful situation my book will also describe. I was considering a career in higher level law enforcement but at the time I lacked the education requirements but was told by DA Tepper he would consider grandfathering me in but I also had other ideas of working in the performing arts after I was approached at Caesars Tahoe by none other than Robert Goulet the famous singer performer who offered to hire me as his understudy as he has other performers however my now ex-wife then objected mainly out of jealousy and even threw a huge temper tantrum right in front of Mr. Goulet in front of the entire casino floor. However, I will always admire Mr. Goulet as his wonderful wife Vera Im so honored to call my friend. These werent the only offers I received by top A list Hollywood icons like Francis Ford Coppola and Shelley Winters who both offered to help me start an acting career however by this time I found I was being viciously stalked which took over 20 years to figure out by who and why which had to do with something 5 others and I witnessed in 1989 that we all later agreed to testify regarding who I was finally able to positively identify as Michaela Joy Garecht and the evidence is just too clear for those who take the time to investigate and those who refuse for their own reasons well also expose in my book coming out soon The Red Cold Blooded Silence.
