I love to eat. Just read this article about the foods L.A. makes better than any other city. Hmmm... Sounds like fighting words to me! Arent we all proud of what our hometown makes really well -- whether its salt water taffy, pulled pork, lobster rolls, or cherry pie? Looking at the list, it feels like those of us who live in Los Angeles really benifit from the people whove come here and given us great Thai food, Japanese ramen and sushi, Korean bibimbop, Chinese dim sum, and, of course, tacos! Perhaps my favorite place on the list is Philippes for the French dip sandwish. (My familys Chinese antique store was right across the street for decades. When my son and cousin graduated, thats where we had the graduation party.) Whats made where you live thats extra special? Brag away! (I have...)
