I myself have been working very hard to show everyone who comes in our school, that some of my competitors might have a larger facility? or maybe charge close at $5- $10 a month less a month in tuition, but most are $25-$45 more a month MORE with HUGE Enrollment and testing fees, that they brag is worth it? because they are so awesome. There is one competitor i respect for what he has done for MMA vs selling out just to cash in, he is an inspiration to MMA. One thing i tell my students that NONE of our competitors have? is one important secret weapon that we have...Me! lol. and my life long desire to teach from my heart, when times are up or down, 15 people in a class, or one person, i teach the same, i give 200% and have the patience of a Saint with children as many parents have told me. I love teaching, its NOT about the money, yeah we need to pay bills, but i give all my knowledge back to make my students the best i can, vs old instructors of mine who held back, depending on how much you did for them at the school, and then tease or dangle techniques in front of you, like a carrot in a horses nose. lol. they make you do this... so maybe they will show you that... kind of old fashioned nonsense. I think the phrase use it or lose it works best for me, dont act like you have all these Secret moves you will never show the students, but instead, show them what you know, you cannot fake you know your stuff, you either do or fake you do. lol.
