I really hate the fact that Dennys restaurants are located in most Flying Js. Jim Haslam needs to stop being disrespectful to drivers, who are his life blood, and put real restaurants in his truck stops. And by real reataurants, I dont mean Golden Corral of Huddle House. Drivers sometimes spend weeks on the road, and the opportunity to get something that resembles a home-cooked meal is greatly appreciated. It used to be that truck stops did whatever they could to serve the drivers. Then, someone got the great idea that non-truckers also stopped by these places. Less frequently by far, but these are the demographic which the truck stops cater to. Indeed, the bigs dont even call themselves truck stops anymore. They are travel centers, travel plazas, or stopping centers. George Carlin himself called this sanctimonius. The total lack of respect to drivers is another reason I hate the Cleveland Browns, or maybe its just their owner I dislike. And the CEO of my company is a personal friend of Haslam, too.
