I remember a Sumpie SGT who was a BAC-1-11 crewtech who always took a pair of unserv igniter plugs away in case he went somewhere he wanted an extra night or two. He ended up staying on Norfolk Island for two weeks because the weekly charter was due a few days later, but someone forgot to load the new plugs on the aircraft and had to wait another week for them. I must say, having spent a few nights there on Sale Draggie trips to NZ, a few days on Norfolk is fun, two weeks would be boring.
