I remember the day we went to the beach. We were laying in bed, and I sat up. It was almost 7 am. And I told you how I was craving the beach, and I wanted to make a sand castle with you. We got up, looked up the nearest beach. An hour away. Gheez. We got up, got all of our stuff together, and headed to walmart for sand toys. Didnt find any. Went to target. Bingo. As we were leaving you seen a Starbucks by the entrance, we stopped and got a smoothie... Then we were on our way. We finally got the road your phone told us to go. But we couldnt find the beach. We drove around for a half hour. FOUND IT. We had to pay?! I remember we pulled up.. We had our cooler and our sand toys and our drinks and we headed off to the beach. I stood on the sand, closed my eyes. And just soaked it all up. You grabbed my hand and pulled me to a spot to make it. You started making it as I stood there looking into the lake that contacted us to Michigan. Cold. The water was cold yet so beautiful. I told you to forget about the sand castle and just sit with me. And look at the water. We held hands. You kissed my neck... You loved me. Youve been gone for 8 months. I still cant believe it. Everything I had once known was gone in less then a week. To this day I miss you. Cant even drive to greenbay with out thinking about the trips wed take every weekend there just to see eachother. You were all I had. Youre gone now.. And I still have nothing.. I miss you... & the day we went to the beach.
