I see a lot of ppl using the ice bucket challenge as ammo to say so many things... Well...honestly...I wanna address a few of those things. I saw a vid where a guy breaks down how much is actually going to research and how more of the money is going to the salary of the ppl at ALS than the actual disease...well thats unfortunate but the bright side is the challenge is still raising something rather than nothing. Than ppl make the remark that there are children dying of thirst and we waste our water...I hope I dont sound insensitive, but children have been dying of thirst since before I was born. Theres a lot of ways to try and help but it will not end thirst, idc how much you try bc thirst is everywhere, and at least the ice bucket challenge is born out of selfless thought. Some ppl dont exhibit the true purpose but that is life, not everyone will have your understanding, but that doesnt mean you cry and make memes to put down those of us who are doing something within our means. At the end of the day, we all have to work to survive and taking a few moments to be a part of something bigger than ourselves is way better than taking time out to pointlessly hate on it. Its not gonna stop bc a few ppl dont like it. Grow up.
