I see all these posts quoting Ben Franklin- "Those who would sacrifice security for liberty, deserve neither". Well, its a couple hundred and some years later; we have computers now. Had em for some time. those who refuse to sacrifice privacy in a world with facebook are right up there with Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Karl Rove, Dick Cheney and the Tea Party. Deluded by the sense of power suggested by the 2 plus century old Constitution, which bereft of any context of what could transpire over say a couple hundred years, could not forsee the shallow demands of the well fed who ignore the starving. In a country where numerically more claim to speak for the old and weak, we are held hostage somehow by a minority whose hallucinogenic delusions keep us pathetically at bay. I will leave it to the casual reader to do the math, and grovel in the privacy of drone strikes, banks who own you and draft laws or to stand up and speak power to sedition by our "representatives". nah. have another drink. here is a cute cat picture for you. ha ha ha. sorry, I am not a people person.
