I signed onto Trulia with the hope of finding an apartment in San Francisco. Rents are high, the market is competitive. I came across a fraudulent listing which I didn’t discover was fraudulent until it was too late. I lost a lot money in the process and still don’t have a place to live. We notified Trulia (and the police) of the incident. Trulia sent me some stock apology email and the VERY next day Trulia let the EXACT same listing go out. The saga continues and were still dealing with it today. Trulia needs to get their act together and protect their consumers. In the meantime please spread the word: DO NOT use Trulia to look for your next place to live. I lost a lot of cash and you could too. #deletetrulia.
