I still stand on the fact that my child/children will have african names and will communicate with me in my language or fathers language. This thing of english names and children speaking english with their parents full on,will never stop irritating me.You leave it at school and only use it when were with other races that cant understand our vernac.In my whole entire life ive heard one caucasian giving their child an african name.And if the children are taught an african language in school they will use it appropriately not everywhere.We have got to keep some of our identity as diverse a country we are. You are not better because you speak english with a person you can speak your vernac with.
