I think many are missing the point of FAF. Its not to give art to your friends. You can do that anytime. The reason MyDogSighs started FAF was to share art with the public. Kinda like Santa Claus with a brush. While the posting and hunting thing is fun, it is inevitable that some artists and hunters are more into it than others. That means the same people every week , more or less. I have dropped art organicly as he intended with no post. A little note asking to drop me a line that the finder has it usually gets a good response. They are surprised and appreciative. I dont make money from my art. I do it because I enjoy it and people seem to like it. Win/win. But I do like to spread the joy. I have dropped multiple pieces, and had THE SAME PERSON pick them all up. That to me is not cool, just greedy. So people are going to have to just look inside themselves and decide what kind of person they are. Artists and finders. Are you as an artist going to be intimidated by what you see as unscrupulous hunters and just stop creating? Sad for everyone if that happens. Are you as a hunter ok with being seen as a greedy, cold person? I dont think so. But if you think about it, the perception people have about you is your true identity regardless of how you see it. We are all prejudiced in our assessment of ourselves. Its human nature. So lets keep dropping Lets keep hunting And lets make 2015 the best FAF year ever. Be cool.
