I understand and laud the aggressive reporting on the decisions made by military brass and the administration in this case. They are public servants and therefore accountable. But a father who has anguished for years over his sons fate is not someone to persecute. Until weve stood in those shoes were in no position to judge. As for the POW, give him a chance to defend himself before jumping to conclusions. A lot of guys snapped over there. Innocent until proven guilty is one of the tenets for which American soldiers have shed their blood. He deserves his day in court if thats what this comes to. To be lambasted in the name of TV ratings and web clicks is the definition of un-American.
