I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself. If you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul. If you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy. Oriah Mountain Dreamer Often when were listening to our own inner guidance (when pure and unfiltered by the ego mind), we WILL make choices/decisions that will lead to our mind/over emotional, codependent heart to say that were letting others down. Heres the thing...when we start the journey of being fully present in the True Heart, there will be many days where our mind/conditioning will tell us were letting others down. Why? To maintain safety/status quo, comfort... Appearances. That sort of thing. Learning to embrace and live in the true heart takes Warrior Courage... Which you have. We all have. Will it be..well...starkly lonely at first? Yes. Will it be uncomfortable? Always. (Not just at first... Being human we will always naturally want to feel that comfort) Cutting toxic ties will never be easy....but it does get easier. If you reach a point where its too easy...that is cause to pause. (Which that in itself is natural as well...the swinging of the pendulum) Always listen to your inner guidance...even when it does swing too far the other way... Because incredible lessons reside in that pause as well. (As well when we skip the pause...all has its purpose) Essentially... Fully trust Your Heart!!! Then the question of trusting others naturally answers itself in this Presence.
