I want to take a moment to sing the praises of a very good friend of all of ours. Craig Gruen (cant tag a friend from a fan page) took over as tour manager for all of my projects a little less than a year ago. We have spent the last year constantly together, teaching him the business, and in the process, I think it may have been me who learned the most. This person is like an angel that came down to make all of our lives better. He cares about the fans, he cares about the band, he cares about the music, he answers my questions before I even ask them. He anticipates the needs of everyone around him and sacrifices his own enjoyment to make sure that everyone else is as comfortable as possible. He has been with me through the highest highs and the lowest lows and I can honesty say I dont know how I could do what I do and be who I am without him at this point. Just wanted to publicly put it out there that he is one of the most special people youll ever meet, and I consider him one of the most important people Ive met since I met my loving wife Debbie and a few guys called the Disco Biscuits back in the early 1990s.
