I want to thank Cheryl, April and Sue for a wonderful week in Brentwood. The clinic has been hugely validating on many different levels and given me a deeper insight in how the hoof grows, how all the diffrent parts works together (and shouldnt interefere with one another) and what we can do to help the horse. We were literally inundated with loads of fast paced theoretic lectures and hundreds of illustrating photos about anatomy, disease and deformation. Cheryls method is easy to follow and put to practice what we did in the hands-on afternoon sessions. We had many horses with different kind of issues to work on and had the pleasure to see several horses get back on their feet in the days following quite drastic set up trims. Also a big warm thank you to Corinne and Nancy for their hospitality and their horses and dogs that were all lovely. I had a fantastic flight home, no cloud in the sky over the whole of North America (sorry!!) so I had a last look at Mt Diablo, Lake Tahoe, mountains, deserts, snow and ice until we flew into the night... Its nice to be home again, to see my own dogs and family and cant wait to look at my horses hooves with the new info in my brain. Back to the mud and rain of good old Bretagne (brrrrr!).
