I want to warn you guys that I have been having calls from Directory Assistance, from 10 different states. I finally got tired and my sixth sense told me something was not quite right. Called AT&T (I have U-Verse) and spoke with the nicest guy...He checked my call log for the past two weeks and saw all of the numbers, with numbers 555 the same in each of the 10 calls. He told me how to block unwanted, or bothersome calls and I blocked all of them, and right as I am typing this I have another call coming in and it shows on my caller ID - Dir Asst 1-416-555-0128 ON which is Ontario Canada, which I picked up but nobody said anything. He told me he would look into it and call me back and I thought, yeah right...but sure enough in about 10 minutes the guy called me back and said do not answer any of these calls as they are scams....if you answer they try and trick you into thinking something is wrong with your computer...he said, they sound really convincing and they want to do this service to help you out for $300.00.....just thought in case someone in this group has been experiencing these calls, ignore them, or write them down and call your carrier and report them. It is a known scam.
