I wanted to share some of the Lyrics I wrote for my Father after he passed away three yeas ago today. I wrote these chords that very night at a friends garage, on his old beat up Yamaha guitar that used to be his dads. The song is in the key of B for Bobby. This is a song of reflection, acceptance, and hope. Father Father, you had to fly away; and although you left us way to soon, your power and presence in the room, still lingers here today Father Father, you were such a good man ; an amazing husband, Pop, and Dad; the best friend you could ever have; its what makes me who I am; Amen Father Father, you grew me up so strong; and the same goes for the girls; we were the center of your world; but especially mom! Father Father, and you always did your way too; yeh your were born to be the best; you never worried about the rest; and thats a lesson Im still learning from you; Amen Father father, I know we will meet again. Yeah that River Jordon still flows on, and like my years into this song, I pray they wash away all Our sins! ; Amen Oh Father heavenly Father; why did you take my dad away from me?
