I was going to just scan the picture of Mr. ORear that shows him with his flat top which is how I remember him but then thought it might be fun to just show all the faculty from my 1961 annual. I think I have mentioned before that Ken Carley was the brother of my first LRC Director, Ted Carley, at El Centro College when I arrived there in 1971 fresh out of the Army. Mrs. Euton was a great English teacher. She was tough but fair and I learned so much from her. I could still diagram a sentence if I had to. Had Mrs. Massey for typing, a skill Im still using. Mr. Klein was an intellectual mentor who got me interested in politics for which I am still grateful. Not sure how much of the geometry I retained. Bobby Jarrett was my football coach in the 8th grade, the only time I went out. I continued to call him coach though he always told me not to. ;-) I wish the annual had a picture of the janitor who cleaned the gym. He was a warm, friendly man and many of us called him Coach Vela causing him to smile. A good man. No doubt many of you will recognize familiar faces here.
