I was planning on going to the St. Petersburg Boat Show this Saturday until I realized that next Saturday the college football conference championship games are played. So now the plan is to go Friday (I had originally taken Friday off for this purpose but decided to make it Saturday to accommodate my ex-girlfriend). Needless to say, some people are not happy. Im also experiencing a bit of buyers remorse the past few days. Not for any other reason except Im finding the marina fees higher than expected with some having a requirement for liability insurance. I knew that some did, I just didnt know how pricey these policies are. Ive never had boat insurance but I knew some people who did and I was expecting somewhere in the $150-$200 range for this old boat. The marina I like has a requirement of $300,000 liability which translates to a lowest quote so far of $397/year. Granted, not bad, but thats only liability, so Im a little bummed. Ill get over it. I get buyers remorse when I buy a TV.
