I went on the Song of Ice and Fire discussion groups for the first time the other day since i heard there was a 2016 for Winds of Winter and i had just reread all the books, the sample chapters online etc etc. I was gobsmacked at the level and depth of the scholarship ...for recent books they had been analysed almost as much as The Champion Eternal or Silmarrillion- There are a few theories i hadnt considered and i was intrigued by the lengths some people had gone to to expound on them- My degrees are mostly in Philosophy and Creative Writing and I have been behind the dice as an RPG Dungeon Master for 35 years on and off - writing games for Games Workshop ...Flying Buffalo etc and articles for Dragon and White Dwarf among others... I was on there for less than a week before I got banned for using language and posturing i took straight from the books- ok I was a bit more Bronn/The Hound than I was Sansa or Jeyne stark but I didnt atack anyone or even anyones theories until out of nowhere some puffed up little twat with a tagline that screams I am 14 have a small dick and premature ejaculation called me a troll out of nowhere....not worth the bother...but hey ...Fluffywascal is a tribute to my hero and metor Bugs Bunny. I will go back on that siteicognito I will stroll around like Cat of the canals and ...probably just stroll around after all hacking accounts and making people who annoy me give all their money to charity would be illegal...but I can dream and who knows maybe somewhere in the world like the tooth fairy someone will make it happen
