I wonder how much it will take the Australian community to - TopicsExpress

I wonder how much it will take the Australian community to mobilise on this and other burgeoning issues in a comprehensive, coordinated movement? Tara I had you in mind as I started talking to myself about this. Right now, the government is doing a very good job of peppering us with lots of little changes - the common denominator (which I just wrote as demoninator, weirdly) is the govt, but it is hard to pin it on one person unless we just want to pin it all on Abbott. Its a very effective way of making sure we cant get entirely organised; there are so many things about which to be outraged. Coal Seam Gas Barrier Reef dumping Asylum Seekers Cory Bernardi Red Herrings Gonski not Gonski etc and so on Carbon pricing ABC Manufacturing subsidisation The Australian dollar Climate change Indonesia, with which we apparently wish to go to war at some stage Sharks and Crocodiles, for gods sake Making Malcolm look like the voice of reason, thereby giving hope that something might change for the better My head is already full and Im just sitting here in my dark loungeroom waiting for it to cool down outside so I can do the weeding before I go to the pub. Oh and somehow the above is all the prior govts fault. I bet they planted the sharks, too. And then the Coalition State govts get in on the act, doing their part to make sure that people are so concerned and anxious, that they let a bunch of oppressive people who feel the need to control us. One punch legislation and restrictions on liquor and late night socialising Trade union elimination Bikies Meanwhile, while all this is going on, they systematically cut us off from information, or cut the information off. By the time we get organised, we wont necessarily know what we dont know.
