MESSAGE:-The Yorùbá are a very advanced and homogeneous people in Nigeria, with world- renowned culture and civilization, and interests that are peculiar and unique. In the past those interests found expression in, and were preserved and advanced through the programmes of the Action Group and the Unity Party of Nigeria in the Western Region. These were made possible by our unity which was our political strength. With the break up of that unity, especially under the................administration,we are today a divided and marginalized people, having lost possession of the commanding heights of the industrial and commercial sectors of the economy, with our leadership of the proffession under threat. Although we are the largest single ethnic nationality in Nigeria and Africa,we are today, almost irrelevant in the nation and the governance of Nigeria. To halt this decline in all sectors, revive our culture and economy and re-establish our rightful place in Nigeria and the world at large,we have to come together on a socio-political platform which is................ which had served the race well in the past.
