IS IT ANY WONDER THAT RICK SCOTT AND CHARLIE CRIST NEVER DID ONE THING FOR REGULAR PEOPLE? Charlie Crist’s 2013 income of $712,780 puts him in the top 1% of Americans. And Rick Scott’s 2013 gain of $48.9 million puts him in the top 1% of the 1% (the top 0.01% of Americans). His net worth increased 58.9% in one year, thanks to his “blind trust”. (Too bad he didnt put our state pension funds into that “blind trust”!) How much did your net worth grow last year? WHAT IS A WONDER is why anyone who is not a millionaire would vote for either of them. WHAT IS A WONDER is why we continue to allow a small minority of Florida voters to elect guys like this, who are practically a different species from normal Florida humans. 23.2% of voters elected Scott, 24% elected Crist. If just a fraction of non-voters vote this time for independent candidate Farid Khavari, we could end the domination of heartless right-wing Republican extremism in Florida by a small minority of voters. Khavari is the only candidate with a real economic plan to create good middle class jobs without wasting taxpayer money to do it. Why vote for the lesser of two evils when you can vote for someone GOOD who cares about people?
