ISIS... Islamic State... Im afraid that there is only going to be an increase in coverage of ISIS and Muslim extremism as our country becomes increasingly involved in its mess.. The stories circulating online and news updates create fear in us all, and it encourages and tries to justify our involvement as a nation, not to mention adding to existing racism. If you want to find proof and examples to support what you already know and believe about Muslims and Islam, you will find it.. There is no shortage of evidence of Islamic based hatred and terror... What is happening in the world right now is nothing short of pure evil, and it is nothing new... But it does not represent all Muslims, and all Muslims do not support what is happening in other parts of the world.. Could any of my Muslim friends please correct me if I am wrong! (Just private message me) I encourage you all to keep a small part of your heart and mind open to the people who do not support the terror happening in the world, and dont let us turn into oppressors and bullies of the people who are innocent in these wars.. It would be counterproductive and will only create more enemies.. I dont know the first thing about Islam. All I know is a few Muslim people who are pretty cool individuals, and I would hate for them all to be painted with the same brush. Yes, what is happening with ISIS is terrifying. Yes, all acts or terror are bad. Yes, hate and oppression and war is bad.. Lets not loose our heads and create more hate, theres enough already..
