If we want to decrease the victimization of our children, we must increase our commitment to them. We need to spend the money for abuse investigations and prosecutions. And for therapists who can work the delicate balance between rebuilding a traumatized child and preparing that same child to testify in court. We know what to do and we know what it would cost. The question is whether we are willing to pay. As always, kids dont get a vote. Its up to us.
