If you don’t understand that this is hilariously pointed - TopicsExpress

If you don’t understand that this is hilariously pointed sarcasm, then you might be a liberal. It is key to understand that it is not racist to want equal rights for everyone and true freedom for every individual. It is also not racist to criticize someone else’s views. The reality is that using the word “racist” when someone disagrees with you is merely substituting a personal attack, one with heavy connotations and historical reference, for reasoned debate. It is an insincere political debate tool, and nothing more. Racism, disliking someone or some group due to their genetic heritage, is incredibly ugly and heinous. Accusing someone of being guilty of it, for the sake of shutting down an argument, is only slightly less so. Fortunately, as Martin Luther King Jr.’s encouragement to judge people based upon the content of their character instead of the color of their skin becomes more and more a natural assumption for the vast majority of Americans, racism has become less and less an actual real life issue.
