My aim is to spread the word and get as many people in Basingstoke to register as possible. If nine other people register that are on the same supply as you there is a chance that you will get an electric car to use for 18 months. It is a discounted lease arrangement but the £100 per month charge is easily recovered since running costs will be 20% of those for a similar sized car. My hope is that if we can get a few hundred people to register locally there will be an increased chance that a group in our town will be selected; selfish tactics or dreaming it has to be worth a shot!
