Tuesday 14 October The surface trough is expected to move offshore during the day as a high pressure system in the Great Australian Bight pushes dry, cooler air across the interior. Showers, rain areas and thunderstorms ahead of the trough are likely for the southern central coast and southeast. Possible isolated showers over the southern Downs during the afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms are expected over the far north of state, with fine and mostly sunny conditions elsewhere.
