Im all for #AbolishColumbusDay but replacing it with an #IndigenousPeoplesDay without acknowledging THEIR decolonization of the red haired giants that previously occupied North America (I dont blame them, these giants were cannibals and sounded horrible, I just want to know more about them) is a bit hypocritical. Much of the proof has been suppressed around numerous skeletons, artifacts (Clovis arrow heads), mummified remains of people averaging 7-10 feet tall, as well as the clear basque region haploid genetic X genes found mixed with many central and eastern indigenous American groups, indicates a version of history being actively held back from the general population. The reclamation rights many indigenous groups have of any remains dating back to before Columbus arriving has allowed the confiscation of these remains often before scientists get a chance to analyze them. Obviously indigenous peoples have suffered immensely due to colonialism, but to stand in the way of science and reason to learn about our world and human history is immoral and worthy of outspoken criticism. They obviously fear the idea that if it was widely known that Europeans were in North America before/at the same time as them that this somehow changes peoples opinion of what has occurred to them since colonization. If this was approached academically that obviously wouldnt be the case, this is just about the search for TRUTH. sott.net/article/256712-A-giant-mystery-18-strange-giant-skeletons-found-in-Wisconsin-Sons-of-god-Men-of-renown
