Im at the Charlottesville airport about to catch a flight to Atlanta to be with my dad for his surgery tomorrow. Dad is schedule to have surgery to remove the tumors in his liver and then hopefully remove all the other tumors seeded in his peritoneum. This is a very difficult surgery that could last anywhere from 6-12 hrs. Please pray for my dad and the surgeons tomorrow. Pray that dads tumors are all removed and that his recovery goes well. My brother and I will be there all week to help with dad and hopefully give mom a break. Please pray for my mom because she is going to be dads caregiver these next 6 weeks as he recovers. We are all so thankful for the many of you who have prayed for my dad as he has battled colon cancer these last few years. There are no words to express our gratitude.
