Im certain there are those who think Im shallow. Well Im going to make a statement that might add validity to your sentiment. Ill begin by stressing that war is a very serious issue and should always be the last resort. But when one does employ force, it should be executed in a manner that ones objective is accomplished swiftly with minimal casualties to your military and their allies. It appears to me that bombing strategic locations is only effective early on in a conflict, as the enemy has ample time to disperse and eventually reorganize. I think the most effective means of success would be blanketing a country with bombs, via aircraft, resulting in utter destruction. Focus first on the adversarys outer perimeters and work your way in, forcing the enemy to flee toward the center. Dont let up and dont give them time to think. As the mission nears its end theyll be gathered up like ducks on a pond. If your going to do it, get it done.
