NUGGET OF GOLD FACE REALITIES --- BE GENUINE Truth never loses. Lies never win. Aim at truth in all aspects of your life – victory cannot elude you if you do. Facing realities is always the best way to run the race of life. If the light is switched on and you see that your hands are dirty, admit and wash your hands with the soap and water provided. Don’t maneuver to switch off the lights in order to live in the deception that the dirt is gone because we don’t see it anymore. It will come back to hurt you. Your own mirror cannot lie to you; admit what it reveals to you, and take steps to make things better. If the expert sincerely tells you it is broken, then admit and fix it. But, don’t view things with blind eyes or prejudice, and resist temptations to show off your skills and tools unwisely --- IF IT IS NOT BROKEN, THEN DON’T TRY TO FIX IT! Allow people to exhibit their gifts and talents in the freedom atmosphere they need in their relationship with you, without constantly trying to find fault with every good thing they say or do. The world is crying for what is authentic --- genuine romantic and other forms of partners, friends, parents, children, in-laws, family members, politicians, teachers, pastors, leaders, bosses, employees, advertisers, business associates etc. People are tired of being presented with imitations, or deceived into denying the truth. Authenticity will always market itself. An advert on TV in the USA says: “If you really have something good, people will by all means know it.” Selling a product that you know is defective, and thinking you can use rhetoric to repeal reality and change perception, is similar to building a sand castle and trying to hide in it as protection from the forces of an oncoming hurricane or tsunami!
