Im feeling a bit bummed this morning. Although I had said our lights went off for good earlier this week, I lied. With the snow, I had to turn them on once more last night. The effect was awesome. However, this morning came... and with it went the lights. It took just over 3 hours to go from gorgeous to wintery. I do not expect to ever have another all out display as we plan to move within the next year to a small apartment, the first step in our ultimate downsizing. Wherever we end up, there will be Christmas lights - just not like what I have put in in recent years. Sigh... And so a fifteen year tradition comes to a close...
