Im not sure if it has to be Jeff to answer this. I assume I am overlooking something really basic and after I get the answer I will have an oh, duh moment. So answers from anyone are welcome. I also apologize in advance for the wall of text but I am clearly overlooking something because the system doesnt work for me about as often as it does and it doesnt seem to be related to sending too few to get the reward. I can attach screenshots of the 9 mission results if it would help in terms of figuring out what I did wrong. I think I have included all relevant data below though. If I havent, maybe that is the answer to the question. :D No syndicate troops were harmed in the production of this data. Dang PETS (People for the Ethical Treatment of Syndicate troops) Enemy notions of # # # # are Jackal Tiger Roughneck Dingo as they display in game results Bank to bank 13 zaam reward = bank of 137930 and the forces expended in that battle dont count towards that bank, they counted towards the previous one. 1 HIS scout vs 16D = 1/31 1/27 1/14 0/7 eliminated and scouted for 6000 initial with 5790 remaining for me to eliminate to complete my highest level 5 HIS vs 16o = 9 8 7 7 eliminated 8 HIS vs same 16o to finish it off = 7/8 dead 9 9 7 7 eliminated and DI 100/100/100 rewarded (this DI does NOT count against my bank or payout nor does the 100 100 100 reward. Correct?) bank now = 93790 8 HIS 6 AI vs 15o = 7 HIS and 5 AI dead and 17 16 11 8 eliminated bank now = 58320 1 HIS 10 AI vs 15o = 1 HIS and 10 AI dead and 26 2 2 1 eliminated bank now = 33140 (I could have hit the last one here but I have been sending too many and not getting enough killed on the last mission for some reason - even knowing the exact troops - the current issue of sometimes needing to do extra doesnt help either) 17 AI vs 15o = 10 AI dead and 22 2 0 6 eliminated bank now = 11480 remaining BUT I got a payout. I thought it was partial. 1 mohawk and resources 8575 4602 6689 for 38866 total payout AKA 28% of the bank I started with. This was early but 15o/d pays out in the 110k range +/- whatever ... but not +/- 70k. Right? (question on the variance I mean - I know it is usually around 110k) so I am thinking this is a partial payout at this point 1 heavy sniper scout vs 16d (highest non-quest S&D) = 1/30 1/26 1/13 0/7 for 5580 remaining 13 creightons and 3 HS = 9 creightons dead and 2 HS dead and all the enemy troops dead but no additional payout if that was a payout of 1 mohawk + resources, my bank should now be at 38866 right? The next mission killed off creights and HS to the tune of 48520 (119%). So it seems like: 1) I cant work the bank and must be doing something wrong in determining when the payout is coming and how much since the current issues seem to revolve around people needing to do extra, not around them getting payout too soon 2) I cant estimate the right force to send at least as often as I do estimate the right force - I assume that this is because it is a low level and isnt actually on me really? ie: 18 values vs level 15 shows and average of 4405 and that last one with 33% extra creightons and one extra heavy sniper had a value of 3900... so with that significant of a swing in enemy value, too many/few troops is going to happen. 3) #2 actually isnt relevant in terms of getting payout early, which happens somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 the time for me What am I doing wrong? Am I assuming anything wrong? When determining the troops to send, if I am going for 5500 or whatever, can I just use the value in the troops to send GUI for both offense and defense? I dont need to do additional math to allow for either the number of contracts researched or the particular troops that a given unit is good/poor against, right? Worst case would be I send too few as long as I send armor to air heavy groups and visa versa?
