Im seeing a lot of blogs and posts asking the church to conform to our generation (LGBT, feminist movement ect...) I went inactive from the LDS church bc a bishop offended me. I decided eventually to take up my cross and follow Him again bc I realized my testimony was in Christ and is not contingent upon outcome. (a jerk bishop, political correctness or anything else) I could care less what the church does with my tithing money. I have faith every dollar is spent under the guidance of the Savior himself, but even if it isnt I follow the commandment and wont be punished on how its spent. Im not going to leave the church over the lack of financial transparency. Over the lack of political correctness. Over anything at all to be honest. My faith is in Him who suffered at Gethsemane for me. Who bled from every pour so that my awful sins could be washed away with His precious blood. In Him who has swallowed my sorrows and borne my grief. Who rescued me from a life of darkness and misery.
