Im very happy to report that Jane continues improving. High points from today include having one of her two drain tubes removed and positioned sitting on the side of her bed not once but twice! She is still experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort, as well as weakness as her muscles have atrophied considerably from lack of use. There will be a bit of physical and occupational therapy in her future, and probably at least another day or two in ICU. I expect her to able to take over posting her condition here and resume other communications by Thursday or Friday.
