Immediate home needed for an abandoned and possibly pregnant dog. The Hadley Police Department is looking for a home for a female, possibly a Chihuahua or Corgi mix. She was brought to Riverbend Animal Hospital today under the pretense of being found, and it was later determined that the owner could no longer afford to keep her and had friends drop her off in Hadley. The second dog (beagle mix, 7 months old) was left at Valley Vet yesterday. This was also an owner abandonment as well. Anyone interested in fostering/adopting, can e-mail Officer Kuc at [email protected]. Both owners have been identified and will be charged appropriate fines and fees.
