Important News Flash – the time has finally come for me to retire and we will begin having 50% off sales 11/20 through the end of the year. The doors will close 12/31/2013. It will be a sad day for all of us, but it is time. If anyone is interested in purchasing the bead store inventory and displays they may contact me at the shop. The building is rented and the owner would be very happy to just rent it to the new owners; making this a “turn key” transaction – I leave one day, you come the next. November Dates to Remember If you sign up for a class remember to bring your fireline, beadalon and needles. You are welcome to bring your work light if needed. Unless otherwise stated, the instruction fee is $20 per class, plus the cost of your supplies. Classes last approx. 2 hrs. Every Thursday - We are open until 8:00 for your shopping pleasure. You are also invited to come join us for a fun evening of sharing projects, learning new techniques and ideas, and good fellowship as it is always open bead night on Thursday or perhaps there is a class scheduled. You are welcome to bring food and drink of choice. Class with Barb, Saturday 11/2 1:00 p.m. - Learn to work with copper precious metal clay. You will receive 30 gms of clay. The cost of this class is $70.00 which includes the instruction, the clay, and kiln firing of the pieces you make. Barb says the copper clay is much easier to work with than the bronze clay. Class with Judy – Thursday 11/ 7 5:30 – Silky Ribbon Bracelet. What a beautiful way to use your Czech Mate tile beads and Super Duo beads. This is definitely a beginner class and you should be able to complete it in an evening; especially if you make the thinner of the 2 bracelets you can choose from. Silky Ribbon bracelet – 2 strand or 1 Class with Barb – Saturday 11/09 1:00 p.m. Learn to work with Sterling Silver Precious Metal Clay. The cost of this class is $140.00 which includes the instruction, the clay and kiln firing of the pieces you make. This class could run a little longer than 2 hours. Precious Metal Clay Pieces, either in copper or sterling silver Class with Diane – Thursday 11/14 6:00 Need a unique Christmas gift? Make the “His Story Bracelet” which tells of the life of Christ from his birth to his ascension into Heaven. The story is told by beads and charms. (Sorry, there is no picture of this bracelet; come in and check out the bulletin board). November 20 – all items in the shop will be for sale. Displays and furnishing will be marked with a price and no other discount will be given. Some items will be marked with colored round stickers. These items will not be discounted further either. Anything else will be on sale at 50% off. At this time, the sale will go through the end of December. I am not sure just yet what time I will take off for Christmas. Sale prices do not apply if any classes should be scheduled after the sale begins. Class with Diane – Thursday 11/21 5:30. For one more time we will offer the leather wrap bracelet.
