**Important PLEASE Share** I have heard several people say just play at another league when discussing little league for this season. I would like to clear up something .... just playing at another league is a VERY long process that needs to be started in January in order to get all the paper work completed and passed through the appropriate channels. As long as your home league offers a team for the appropriate age group in question; then what is known as a charter waiver needs to be completed. Also, if a child is playing at a league outside their home league without a charter waiver; that child is not covered under league insurance. Another thing I have heard is who is over ____ (insert area). The answer - We are Lincoln County. Hamlin, West Hamlin and Ranger are not separate entities; we are one. Yes, we are behind on registration for this year. We are trying to get everyone registered and teams distributed as quickly as possible, but when school is closed for days at a time and road conditions are possibly dangerous for travel it has been difficult. That being said - I want everyone to know I am working on getting volunteers to help with registration and I am working on a flyer to be distributed at schools from Hamlin to Ranger. Please be patient, Little League is not what it was 20 years ago. It is full of policy and procedure handed down from a governing body. My goal is to get every child on the field and having fun; at the same time I must adhere to the policy and procedures handed down. If anyone ever has any questions, please feel free to message the page or send an email to LincolnCountyLittleLeague@outlook Thanks, Johanna : )
