In 1925, 10,800 hectares of forests surrounding the temples of Angkor were declared as national park, which was the first national park in South-east Asia (ref: Le Billon, 1994) Today PPPost reported people were arrested cutting rosewood inside the Park...There are many orchids sculpted on the temple walls and in the surrounding forest...when all the forests are gone..will people cut the temples too?
