In CPUT i have seen humiliation , lost myself, experience failure and heard sleepless nights . My First Year In 2011 We Were Only 2 Black People In My Class The Vast Majority Whites And Few Co-loured , I Use To Try Myself To Slip For 3 Months (January, February and March) , No Matter How Hard I Tried It Just Did Not Happen, We The Only 2 Blacks Were Always At The Bottom Of The pile We Would Get Very Low Marks , My First Accounting Paper I got 18 % , Economics 7% , Cost Accounting 16% And Communication which was my highest Mark 89%. Everyday i would try up until i sleep because no one was of any assistance those whites would study alone and co loured do the same and all tutors were white so you make an appointment until until but they never came AFTER ALL WE ARE BLACK However I made My way Back i decided to do something out of nothing i believed i can do it anyway their life is planned ours we have to work it out as we move , they have resources we dont , they have great basic education and we dont , AFTER ALL WHO ARE THEY TO UNDERSTAND BLACKS , ALL THEY SEE IS ANIMALS AND IT WILL ALWAYS BE LIKE THAT . From the day i refused to fail again , i fought as much i could and i tracked it and In my Academic Record In this University I have never failed even one subject in All years. all in all what am saying you not the problem but the system but it depends on you what you gonna do about it , i suggest you continue you already in pain for it , get a reward , He who says He Can And he who says he Cant are both usually right Ntando Maduna
