In January, 2011, A beautiful women, influence, positive mentor was brought into my life. She was there before, but on this particular winter day she asked me to have a conversation with her about the journey that had brought ours lives together. A few nights previous I had shared my Experience, Strength and Hope with a group, and Blanche was there. The day of the life changing conversation (Jan 30,2011...ish ) is something i hold very close to my heart to this day. Blanche had told my that God has given me a gift, and through courage, strength and faith, I would be able to help a lot of people with this gift. My great friend Blanche had inspired me to start speaking publicly about my journey in recovery. About the hard work you have to put in to this life style change. Faith was always one of Blanches top prioritys. She radiated faith and tenacity. Shortly after this conversation, Blanche had fallen ill. Her faith and tenacity pushed her miles further than any doctor expected. On Wednesday July 16, 2014. Blanche lost her battle, and was received into the kingdom of heaven. I want the world to know what a fantastic human being she was. She helped more people that anyone can ever imagine. her absence is already felt in an immeasurable way . I know that many of us are richer for having a piece of wisdom from Blanche. I will always think of Blanche as one of Gods Messengers. With-out that conversation in 2011, who knows where I would be today. Thank you for gracing this earth with your presence Blanche. You are deeply missed, and never far from our hearts. Thank you for showing me who I was. Love you.
