In detective fiction, the setting is as much a feature of the story as the characters are, whether the setting is real (Edinburgh - Rebus) or fictitious (Eastvale - Banks), urban (Oxford - Morse) or rural (Midsomer - Barnaby). In STEPS IN THE SHADOWS, the famous city of Manchester, in the North West of England, is where the action takes place. This is my debut novel, which was released exactly two years ago today! Its the first novel in the Northern Quartet, which introduces Detective Inspector Molyneux. Readers reviews: “Its dark, northern like a winter’s night, it grips you and pulls you along and finishes all too soon.” “Couldnt wait to get to the end but then didnt want it to end!” “Great characters, a plot that keeps you guessing and a really gripping end. What more could you want from a crime story?” “The characters are captivating, the story thrilling. I usually read Patricia Cornwell and Kathy Reichs, this is right up there with them, I cant praise it enough.” Click on the link below to buy the book!
