In other news, it was an excellent bike ride today, the perfect ride for me in my present state of unfitness. It was a 28 mile loop from Pleasant Hill BART down to Danville on the old road, then coming back on the other side of the freeway through Roundhill etc. There was climbing involved but I never even noticed it. Towards the end we had these really fun downhill stretches that seemed to come out of nowhere. It makes a HUGE difference doing these things on a road bike instead of a hybrid. Im really liking this Bianchi now that it seems to be dialed in.
