In the beginning there was the vibration of all particles, all - TopicsExpress

In the beginning there was the vibration of all particles, all energy all life and as this vibration began to evolve it was called music. As music evolved there was a brief flash of light and out of a small dark pocket of emptiness came a form and that form was named Techno. Legends say a man in Chicago emerged out of the bathroom after listening to Blow Your Head by the JBs on him Walkman over and over again and said Ive got it. What seems like over a million years later Techno is very much the same as it ever was. Its playful use of mathematics a good release and an interactive form tend to just make it a good laugh. So this Friday at Psy -Tronic at The Cookie Club, Techno in the second room and presenting some of Nottinghams finest and most varied Techno DJs. There was enough material from Blow Your Head to craft another musical form a bastard offspring that did not really show its parent much respect and left its homeland to move to Europe where its growth to the rest of globe cannot be charted. This was Psy Trance been pushing at least 1000 years of 4:4 dimension wobbling dugga dugga and has spawned many sub-genres some of which dont actually exist. Cats seem to like it although you dont tend to find many on the dancefloor. So before the Christmas thing on Friday a Masquerade Ball with all the things you need for a great party, including a heated outdoor space for the smokers out there and low and behold I as the Indigo Herder will be starting things off with some of the most hypnotic vibes I can find in the downstairs Psy Trance room hosted by Technicolour, including Shakti and N.Vader. If any of you can make it at 22-23 for my set it will be great to see you there, probably the last chance for a decent party before Christmas. Just look how many good people are going. Still time to cut someones face off and wear that if you cant find a mask.
