Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services are currently hiring for 2 full time positions, details are as follows: Hurry up...tomorrow -Thursday, 5 September 2013 is the deadline to apply. Operations Supervisor Responsibilities: 1.Day to day preparation and operations of tours, transfers, hotel bookings and turnaround services for cruise ships calls. 2.Recruit, interview and train part time staff 3.Manage the ship call operation on the day 4.Negotiate with suppliers and set up operational standards 5.Compile reports for various operations and submit within deadlines 6.Create invoices for services both for clients and suppliers using our internal systems 7.Conduct site site inspections and help with the creation of new shore excursions products Requirements: Good academic background Excellent knowledge of English and Chinese (Hokkien) preferred). Other core languages are a big plus. (ex: German, Italian, Spanish) to liaise with various associates Ability to work long hours and sometimes weekend Ability to work in a team but also to lead teams from 10 to 150 part time staff) Experience in hospitality/cruising/traveling industry is an advantage. Ability to manage own workload and work autonomously. Good command of Microsoft Office package, especially Excel. Operations Admin: Responsibilities: 1.Ensure correct data entry on Intercruises and clients operational systems 2.Prepare all the necessary documents and information needed for the operations 3.Coordinate with all other operational departments the needs of the day 4.Prepare all the necessary materials for the operations 5.To control and coordinate the operational staff schedules 6.Ensure the required staff numbers are met for each operation 7.To invoice all the services to the client timely. Requirements: Experience in working with large scale of staff members; Highly organized and methodical person, with the ability to perform both independently and in teamwork; Office based with flexibility in case the operations demands; Good Communication skills, not afraid from interaction with people High Level of English, both written and spoken.
